Yeiser Art Center - Paducah
It was my pleasure to shoot the opening of the Fantastic Fibers Exhibition at the Yeiser Art Center Saturday evening. The staff was warmly welcoming and the artists and guests were treated to a beautiful exhibit. Be sure to visit this exhibit, their wonderful gift shop, and support the center. The Yeiser Art Center is located in downtown Paducah and is open Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Market House Museum - Paducah
The Market House Museum is home to some of Paducah's glorious past. Paducah's first motorized fire truck, silver punch bowl from the USS Paducah, Lincoln chairs, from the very early Renaissance Revival era, which were used in the White House, and the civil war history room are only a few of the great treasures you will find in this fascinating building. The woodwork and stained glass from the List Drugstore are elaborate and beautiful. Find out more about this wonderful museum at www.markethousemuseum.com.

Paducah Flood Wall Murals
Several people have asked me to share my photos of the murals on the flood wall in Paducah. I get a lot of requests from people that have moved away and would like to see the murals again. Please share this link with those you know would like to see them.

Market House Theatre - Paducah
I love this shot of the Market House Theatre in downtown Paducah. I had gone downtown to shoot the super moon, but it was too cloudy and could not get a shot. So, started looking for other things to shoot. Hope you enjoy the view inside and out of the Market House Theatre.

Warning Poem
One of Barbara's favorite poems is Warning by Jenny Joseph. The poem is associated with the Red Hat Society. The line about wearing purple with a red hat was the inspiration for the organization. She has always wanted a framed copy of the poem. To put a personal twist on the poem, I talked Barbara into dressing in purple with a red hat. We spent the day going around town taking pictures that we would use for the background of the poem. It was a very fun day. The following is the picture she choose for the background.

Four Seasons
One of my favorite projects took a little time to put together. This is a series of photos that show our house over the 4 seasons. Four of these are framed and hang in our dining room. They make for great conversations.
