Sam's Tennis Ball

This was a fun and interesting experience. Had to wrestle the ball away from him. Throw the ball high enough so that I could wipe the slobber off my hands, grab the camera and focus before he caught the ball.

Market House Theatre - Paducah

I love this shot of the Market House Theatre in downtown Paducah. I had gone downtown to shoot the super moon, but it was too cloudy and could not get a shot. So, started looking for other things to shoot. Hope you enjoy the view inside and out of the Market House Theatre.

Warning Poem

One of Barbara's favorite poems is Warning by Jenny Joseph. The poem is associated with the Red Hat Society. The line about wearing purple with a red hat was the inspiration for the organization. She has always wanted a framed copy of the poem. To put a personal twist on the poem, I talked Barbara into dressing in purple with a red hat. We spent the day going around town taking pictures that we would use for the background of the poem. It was a very fun day. The following is the picture she choose for the background.

Reelfoot Lake Ice

Took these shots at Reelfoot lake at Samburg today. The ice adds a ghostly feel. The temperature was close to 50. I would have love to seen these when they were forming. Some of the formations were 12 ft up in the trees.
